Albacete My Town   by Juan

Hello! my name´s Juan. 

I´m ten years old ,

I´m from Albacete and I live in Albacete.

I go to Cristóbal Valera school. 

Albacete it´s a big town.

It´s in the southeast of Spain, 

it has a very extreme climate because in winter 

it´s very cold and in summer very hot . 

I don´t like the cold.

It´s modern  because it hasn´t got  many old buildings 

and it´s quiet because there isn´t much traffic. 

I  can walk almost everywhere.

There´s a train station that is in front of the my house.

There´s a bus station that is next to the muy house,  a town hall that is opposite the my school.

But there isn´t a zoo, an airport, 

a port or an amusement park.

There are lots of shops, cinemas, parks, 

restaurants, hotels, swimming pools,  toy shops, banks, book shops, supermarkets, cafes in my town.

There are some important buildings in Albacete;

San Juan Cathedral, the Circus Theatre, the Museum of Cutlery, the Archeological Museum, the Municipal Museum and the Bullring.

There are some important parks in Albacete;

Abelardo Sánchez Park, Altozano Park, Lineal Park and The Festival of the tree Park.

I like  Abelardo Sánchez Park very much because I can see many types of trees and birds. 

I ride a bike on weekends 

and I go to the Abelardo Park with my family. 

I love  Lineal Park because I can play football and play basketball with my friends.

 I can also  skate with my sister. It´s fantastic.

San Juan Cathedral is next to the Town Hall 

and the Museum of Cutlery.

The Archeological Museum is in Abelardo Sánchez Park

The Municipal Museum is opposite the Altozano Square.

The circus theatre is behind the Municipal Museum.

MY TYPICAL DAY;

Hello! I´m Juan, I´m from Albacete. 

Albacete is in the east of Spain.

I live with my parents; Vanessa and Juan, 

and my little sister Daniella.

I´m ten years old.

This is my typical day;

In the morning I get up at quarter to eight.

Then I have breakfast at quarter past eight, 

I have biscuits and milk for breakfast.

After I get dressed  at half past eight. 

I usually wear blue, grey or green tracksuit.

Next I go to school at quarter to nine.

I have lessons at nine o´clock.

I like English, mathematics and French. 

I love gymnastics.

After to school, I go home at two o´clock and I talk to mum.

I have lunch at home with my family at half past two midday.

I like spaguetti with tomato, pizza and soup but I don´t like vegetables and fish.

Then I do my homework at half past three.

I have a snack at five o´clock.

I usually have fruits and cereals.

Then, I play with my friends at quarter past six in the afternoon.

I play football two days a week; 

on Monday and on Wednesday for one hour.

Next, I go home at quarter to seven.

I have a shower at half past seven.

Then I watch TV at five to eight.

I read books at ten past eight.

I have dinner at half past eight in the evening. 

I like  hamburgers very much but I don´t like carrot pures.

Finally I go to bed at nine o´clock and I listen to music.

and I go to sleep at half past nine.

FOOD IN ART:

This painting is called Still Life.

It´s by the Dutch painter Jan Davidsz de Heem,  within the 

genre of still lifes where it combines the 

harmony of colours with an exact representation of the objects.

Jan Davidsz is a great representative 

of Dutch and Flemish Barroque painting. 

His artistic style is Barroque.

I can see a black wall in the background and a large table.

There are two glasses and three bowls on the table.

I can also see a jug and a tray on the brown table.

There are some pomegranates and some plums 

in the bowl on the left.

There´s some wine in two glasses.

There´s a lobster next to the jug.

There are four red cherries under the bowl on the left.

There are three small tomatoes on the table.

There´s a prawn and  a crab on the table.

There´s some bread, vegetables and seafood on the tray.

There are some yellow and purple grapes and some beautiful oranges in the center bowl.

There are two large white and red peaches on the table.

I can also see some meat in the bowl on the right.

There´s a lot of fruit on the right side of the painting.

I like the big green pumpkin a lot and the peeled orange.

There are some leaves all over the painting.

I´ve got a similar painting in my house.

Hello! My name´s Juan. I´m nine years old.

I choose Paulo Dybala as a famous people.

This is Paulo Dybala:

He is twenty- four years old.

He is from Laguna-Larga (Cordoba) in Argentina.

He has got two brothers but he hasn´t got sisters.

He has got brown short straight clean hair.

He has got a round face.

He has got small ears and a big nose.

He has got green and beautiful eyes.

He has got a small mouth.

He has got a big neck.

He has got strong arms and long legs.

He has got dirty knees and hands.

He has got strong feet.

He has got small fingers and toes.

But he hasn´t got long teeth.

He hasn´t got curly hair because he doesn´t like curly hair.

He´s wearing the Juventus Kit.

He likes playing football, playing basketball, canoeing and listening to music.

He also likes skateboarding.

But he doesn´t like singing, dancing OR sledging.
I like Dybala because he can score goals for the squad and he can also run very fast 

but I don´t like that he earns so much money for playing football.

ABOUT MYSELF 

Hello! My name is Juan. I´m nine years old. I´m from  

Albacete. I live in Albacete,  it´s in the east of Spain.

SPORTS

I like playing football, swimming, dancing, horse riding 

and skateboarding but I don´t like playing badmington, 

jogging and sledging.

AT HOME

I like watching TV, listening to music, reading comics 

and playing computer games  but I don´t like cooking.

My favourite hobby is dancing, I love dancing.

I´ve got brake dance classes two days a week.

I can jump and make very difficult turns.

MY FAMILY

I´ve got a sister but I haven´t got any brothers.

My sister likes rollersblading, canoeing and playing 

tennis but she doesn´t like  playing volleyball and 

playing basketball.

My dad likes canoeing, playing football and playing

basketball but he doesn´t like skipping and writing 

emails.

My mum likes fishing and playing volleyball, she loves 

swimming but she doesn´t like playing hockey and 

talking to friends.
